Sunday, November 15th is America Recycles Day. If you follow my blog you know I like to re-purpose things from time to time... Repurposing is like the new recycle.
In honor of America Recycles Day, I am featuring a great company that provides 'Gear for Good'. Not only does Cotopaxi make great outdoor gear--they are passionate about adventure, making a positive impact, and inspiring others to the same in outdoor gear.
Cotopaxi has a two part promise: They make good products and they do good in the world.
This company focuses their efforts on global poverty alleviation and gives targeted grants to advanced health education and livelihood initiatives around the world.

I'd like to share with you a project that Cotopaxi has been doing that involves repurposing fabric that was headed to landfills. They gave sewers in the Philippians total creative control to create these one-of-a-kind nylon bags packed with punchy colors. No two bags are alike. Here's a short video about the Luzon Del Dia bag and how it's made.
Pretty cool, huh?
The Luzon Del Dia features a roomy sleeve with ripstop nylon, top drawstring
closure, mesh backpack straps and an internal hydration sleeve.
Whether you're on the traills or bouncing around town this bag is truly unique and is
'Gear for Good'.
And in honor of America Recycles Day--Do your part to keep America beautiful People!
